WHY DO YOU LOVE TO VISIT ASPEN FOR A WINTER ESCAPE?

Going to Aspen is always an incredibly immersive experience, from the scenery that is beyond comparison, to the ski culture that is fun and luxurious. I love going during any season, however, the snowy bliss and glorious winter wonderland can’t be beaten.

WHAT DO YOU PACK FOR A TRIP TO ASPEN?

I swear by Patagonia so that’s always in my suitcase for an Aspen trip. As I do love skiing, I also bring along ski pants, clothes to layer with and of course, a good pair of gloves. The great thing about a ski trip is you really can keep it casual and cool. After the slopes, a pair of great boots, jeans and a cashmere sweater are comfortable and chic.

FAVORITE MOUNTAIN TO SKI?

I love Ajax personally but overall I would say Aspen Highlands - this mountain is a perfect route for moderate skiers. It tends to be less crowded than some of the other mountains and it offers a variety of diverse runs.

BEST PLACE FOR APRES SKI?

Chair 9 is great for a lively apres ski adventure. This venue is at the iconic resort, The Little Nell, complete with DJs, dancing and a very social atmosphere.

BEST SPOT FOR A MEAL IN ASPEN?

I never pass up an opportunity to dine at Cache Cache. I love starting at the bar for drinks and then staying for the full dinner service. My repeat order is the frisée salad with scallops.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE NON-SKI ACTIVITY?

I love visiting the Maroon Bells which is a must-see during any season.

ONE PLACE YOU GO EVERY TIME YOU’RE IN ASPEN?

A store called Kemo Sabe, I always stop here to shop when I’m in Aspen. They offer gorgeous western hats and paraphernalia that are authentic and classic.

MUST-VISIT BAR IN ASPEN?

The living room at The Little Nell. This is the see and be seen spot with great cocktails and a relaxed atmosphere. Get there early so you can grab a table before it fills up.
