These days, a lot of sound can come out of a small container. The Ultimate Ears Boom 3 is smaller than a can of Pringles, but it puts out 90 dBA with a frequency range of 90 Hz to 20 kHz. That’s room-filling sound from a speaker tinier than a tube of new tennis balls.

Since I’m fresh out of analogies to describe this thing’s size, let’s stick to the specs. The Boom 3 packs a pair of two-inch audio drivers and another pair of two-inch by four-inch passive audio radiators. The user can choose between four EQ settings and connect the speaker to eight different devices via Bluetooth.
