Jupiter has a new real estate game in town and at the helm is the young and very determined Brian Fairweather Jr., who joined high-end real estate firm The Agency (theagencyre.com) as managing director when the real estate pro opened up its South Florida wing in December 2018. Since its parent company’s inception in 2011, The Agency has closed over $18 billion in real estate transactions and employs over 450 agents in 24 offices worldwide. It was a no-brainer for Fairweather to join.
“Mauricio Umansky, our founder has always been a role model to me, and to work along side him and call him a friend has been a surreal experience,” says Fairweather.
The Florida State alum says he is excited to grow the brand in Northern Palm Beach County, alongside colleague Dean Stokes, a very accomplished real estate agent with over $300 million in closings. “Besides expanding the office, we have many amazing houses hitting the market this season,” says Fairweather. “From new construction spec homes on the water to resales in some of the most exclusive and sought-after golf course communities. It is going to be a great way to end the year!”
The Agency is planning a golf tournament for later this season in partnership with a charity and local businesses in the area. “Golf is such a big part of our culture, and to be able to use this platform to give back to the community is really special,” says Fairweather. Hailing from a long line of roofing and construction industry professionals, the avid golfer has grown up around the business. His golden rule? “Your word is everything! Stay honest, work hard and always keep the client’s interest the number one priority,” he says.
When this go-getter isn’t closing multimillion-dollar deals, you can find him working diligently with some of the area’s most impressive nonprofits, including Best Buddies Palm Beach, the Palm Beach Symphony, Preservation Society of Palm Beach and the Lighthouse Guild.
