Sig Zane is a designer whose work is based on Hawaiian values and aesthetics. He began with aloha shirts, but he has also done airplanes, books, interiors, and sculpture. Similarly, he is keenly interested in preserving the education of the traditional hula and its crafts, especially the spiritual part of the dance. Currently a Hilo resident, Zane is devoted to his Ford F-150.
