Celebrities these days are throwing the power of their names and images behind spirit brands far and wide. The trick for them is aligning themselves with a quality product.

Actress, singer and model Rita Ora looks like she picked a winner in her partnership with Conecuh Brands to launch a new tequila brand, Próspero. Developed by master distiller Stella Anguiano and made at the Don Roberto Distillery in Jalisco, Mexico, within the Tequila Valley, Próspero’s Blanco, Reposado and Añejo varietals are rendered from the blue agave from which all true Tequila flows.

According to Ora, she’s grateful to be included in the new spirits project and eager to share the end result with connoisseurs: “Stella and her team are incredibly passionate about what they do."

The early results on Próspero’s reception are in, and they point to an elite product. The tequila evaluators at Wine Enthusiast recently tested the Añejo varietal and scored it a 97 – an “Excellent” on the publication’s scale. www.prosperotequila.com
