Rihanna's 'Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 3' to Drop Next Month

Rihanna's 'Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 3' to Premiere Next Month

The next best thing to a new Rihanna album? Another Savage X Fenty fashion show.

The multi-hyphenate mogul took to social media today to announce “Savage x Fenty Vol. 3” will premiere on Amazon Prime next month.

“Oh you think you ready?!,” she wrote on Twitter.

The third installment of the fashion show will be available worldwide when it drop on Sept. 24. Combining fashion, dance, music and iconic architecture, the special highlights the latest Savage x Fenty collection, Rihanna’s inclusive, fashion-forward line of lingerie, underwear and sleepwear. It will be available for purchase on the same day as the show’s release.

“We want to make people look good and feel good,” Rihanna says of the brand. “We want you to feel sexy and have fun doing it.”

Though the lineup of models and performers has yet to be announced, the high-profile bills from Vol.1 and Vol. 2 hint the fashion show will not be short of star power. In the past, it has featured Laverene Cox, Cara Delevingne, DJ Khaled, ASAP Ferg, Halsey, Bella Hadid, Migos, Normani, Gigi Hadid, Big Sean, Joan Smalls, Indya Moore, Tierra Whack, Isis King, Bad Bunny, Demi Moore and Rosalía.

The show flows from concert to high-fashion runway to dance performance with ease in big thanks to choreographer Parris Goebel, who you might recognize from Justin Bieber’s beloved “Sorry” video. She is up for a Primetime Emmy Award at next month’s ceremony for outstanding choreography.

Earlier this month, Rihanna became a billionaire, marking her as the wealthiest female musician in the world and the second richest female entertainer (just behind Oprah Winfrey). The feat is in part due to her stake in Savage x Fenty, which is worth an estimated $270 million. Much of her status, however, comes from Fenty Beauty, her cosmetics brand.

Both the brand and its fashion shows have garnered a loyal following for providing a space that celebrates all bodies, including body types beyond the stereotypical size zero particularly platformed by lingerie brands throughout the aughts. With “Savage x Fenty Vol. 3,” Rihanna fans are promised a continued challenging of tradition in the quest to redefine sexy.
