Hawaii - CEO, Principal Broker and Co-Owner of Hawaii Life
This North Shore Kauai-based surfer has more favorite bands than he could possibly name—but his top live show ever was Prince at the LA Forum. Best vacation, too, is tough—though hiking the crater at Haleakala and staying in the cabins up there was “like no place in the world.” Beall is CEO, principal broker and co-owner of Hawaii Life, a large residential real estate company founded in 2008. Today he employs over 400 staff, brokers and agents in the firm—all this from a gent whose education, in his own words, includes “some college, some pilgrimage, and a lot of hard work.”
I’m headed to Hokkaido here soon for a snow trip, which has been on my radar for a while now, so I’m really looking forward to that.
I make a mean soba noodle dish.
Vermeer in Amsterdam.
I had old Kawasaki 600 in my 20’s. It was fun. Also dangerous.
Hamilton. Great story.
Same as above.
Meh. It’s not like I’ve retired after 60 years of working for an engineering company.
I haven’t been, but I would love to visit Germany.
Undisclosed. Plus it’s probably raining and there’s no good surf there.
Not sure about favorite, but I do get the mail from our P.O. Box and sometimes make a Kaua’i Juice Co run.
Hopefully not much.
I serve on the board of the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust and I’ve been a supporter since 2013. My wife and I support other causes, too, most often environmental but also arts and progressive movements.
Hawaii Life also has a donor-advised fund with Hawaii Charitable Foundation. That fund is run by the brokers and agents in our firm. Last year, we raised over $200,000 for flood relief efforts on Kauai and volcano relief efforts on the big island.
I think personal privacy is increasingly underrated.
