Master of his craft, Sig Zane needs to stay on top of things to be sure his design work stays top-notch. Here are a few Hawaiian spots that Zane swears by.

Moon and Turtle - Kalakaua Street, Hilo

Moon and Turtle is not your regular diner! Tucked away on a side street in Downtown Hilo, this spot is extraordinary. Chef Mark Pomaski is the artist/chef behind the plates. Creating surprising flavors with ingredients from the Big Island, this farm-to-table, ocean-to-table is my favorite spot to take my friends for a great dinner. Smokey Sashimi is a must-have, every time. Grab the Ceviche and the Brussel Sprouts if they are on the menu, or the Smoked Fish Fried Rice is always a good go-to. Top it off with specialty drinks by his wife Soni! This is a regular spot for me just because it is comfort food for my soul. Call for reservations in advance because you don't want to miss out on this one!

Golden Hawaii Barbershop - Kaimuki, Honolulu

Ambience. Cool. Classic. This barbershop gives the best haircut! Walking out I feel like a million bucks. Period. I was introduced to this place by one of my employees and whenever I’m in Honolulu and need to look good, this is the place. Service is impeccable. Plus there's free parking behind!

Salvage Public South Shore Marketplace - Kakaako, Honolulu

Dressing the part is important and the bottom line is knowing where to get what I need. Wearing the other guy’s brand isn't easy but I like Salvage Public. The cut, cotton, shape, and sizing are the best. Their sense of design is simple, classic, and modern, wearing their clothes is comfortable, a great statement, and makes me poised ready for anything. Check out their other wovens, shorts, and jackets. Check them out online!
