I start my day at 5 AM with a cup of coffee and go over my day's schedule and check the news and respond to emails. As an entrepreneur with multiple businesses, exercising 4 times a week is an absolute must to my success and daily grind, I have a personal trainer that comes to my home gym at 7:10 am and do a 30-40 minutes circuit training, doing several sets of different exercises with light weight, keeping my heart rate up. This has been critical to keeping my mind sharp and helps me focus for that day, to me exercise is more about my mind conditioning than body, I have been exercising for 35 years since I was 14, I first bought two dumbbells from a swap meet and started lifting weights on my patio. like to finish my work out with a 15 min sauna and shower, then off to the races.
The one day of the weekday that I don’t work out I totally feel the energy level being lower and have to drag myself throughout the day.
Because I work hard during the day, I like to unwind In the afternoon at my private cigar lounge, Cubano Room, in Newport Beach with a nice cigar and catch up on my email and social media. It's very important to pause before you go home to wife and kids, and for me, a cigar in the afternoon works well (don’t ask my wife what she thinks about it LOL!).
