An ideal Saturday would call for a morning run from the Marina Green to the Golden Gate Bridge. You can catch some of the most spectacular views of the water plus the bridge on this route, especially on a nice day.

Following the run, I’d proceed to The Equinox on Union Street and work out for about an hour. As soon as I’ve finished training, I’ll move towards the steam room to de-stress and recover.

Preferably in a vintage Ferrari or a classic Porsche 911, I’d then take a drive to Big Sur where excellent views of rocky ridges and vivid green hills appear along the way, which definitely make the drive worthwhile!

Big Sur is without a doubt my favorite go-to location during the weekend, even if it’s just for one night. I’d continue my day there with a mid-morning coffee at the rustic Big Sur Bakery. This classic Big Sur spot is simply magical and sits in a beautiful setting.

The remainder of the afternoon would be spent poolside at Ventana Inn’s Alila Spa to unwind and soak in the sun.

After relaxing by the pool, I would sip a cocktail at either the Post Ranch Inn or Nepenthe which both offer breathtaking cliffside views.

A table for two + unparalleled views.

For one of the best dinners in Big Sur, I would head to Deetjens Big Sur Inn. With their relaxing atmosphere, nothing beats ending a day at Deetjens.
