Fort Worth native Hudson Moore is popping up everywhere. In fact, his newly released single “One of Those Nights” was just picked up by the Dallas Cowboys for the opening game hype video. Since hitting the Nashville scene in the spring of 2018, Moore has garnered heavy recognition in the industry and continues to blaze his trail with a harmonic mélange of country and rock music. Originally an aspiring filmmaker in the Radio, TV and Film program at The University of Texas at Austin, Moore’s passion for music seemed to shine through. He recorded his first album, Fireworks, his sophomore year and never looked back. “Fortunately, now I get to combine my love of film and music together by creating music videos,” enthuses the crooner. “I’ve also been lucky to have a selection of songs featured in TV shows, films and commercials, so I feel like I get to be creative in both film and in music.” Moore has played on all types of stages—from intimate gatherings to singing in front of 10,000 people when opening a show for ZZ Top. He seeks inspiration from combining his love of new music with the classics. Growing up listening to some of the greats like George Strait, James Brown and Marvin Gaye, Moore also learned the love for playing the guitar and writing songs from his father, who also plays the guitar. Now a father himself to a little girl, Hadley, and one on the way with wife and college sweetheart Sarah, Moore credits his family for keeping him motivated. What’s next for this rising star? “I have several new singles out right now, ‘Coming Home’ and ‘Universe.’ They’re two of my favorite songs I’ve ever written. I want to create something that’s unique, fresh and timeless.”
