If being eclectic was a profession, Jonathan Rosenberg would be at the top of that field. With a background in the food and drink industry, consulting, and now becoming a master of the creative industry; it seems as though there is nothing that Rosenberg can't do. As a busy man about Dallas, Rosenberg needs to stay in the know to stay on top of his busy schedule and look the part. Here is his go-to list for living his best life.
Nutritionists/chefs
Chef Peja Krstic – Owner Mot Hai Ba - I used to own the bar The Standard Pour (tspdallas.com) which is still around today. I opened it in 2012 with Peja as our chef and he was amazing and went on to open his own restaurant, Mot Hai Ba with tremendous success as an up and coming chef in our city. His new spot opens soon in Victory Park, Dallas.
Rami Rassas - Rami Raw – I have thrown a couple of parties at my place and love having Chef Rami cook. He is a great guy, a client at WUA, and one hell of a good chef.
Personal trainers
Jason Benjamin – Chaos Strength & Co. - I used to go to Jason but since my schedule is all over the place its hard to stay consistent. I try and get a workout whenever my schedule allows at The Crescent Club gym, Orange Theory next door to where I live, or Soul Cycle just down the street.
Concierge services
I don’t use concierge services but rather my network of friends & fam. However, there is one service that I do use when we are lucky enough to fly private. It is my twin brother Roberts company Leviate Air Group: leviateair.com.
Custom Threads
Suits – KnotStandard knotstandard.com - My roommate in college at The University of Texas, John Ballay, started this company back when he used to live in Dubai 2012. They have a branch here in Dallas next to another bar I opened called High Fives. I love supporting friends doing amazing things. He now has stores all over the country. I am very proud of him.
Uncommon Man shopuncommonman.com - I just love their stuff. I met Kyle, the owner, when he walked into White Unicorn Agency a few years back and he put some fabric on my desk and said he was going to start a men's bespoke suit company right here in Dallas. It has been amazing to help him bring his vision to life. whiteunicornagency.com/projects/uncommon-man/
Tailors: Joe at Dry Clean Super Center dcscuptown.com A dry cleaner supercenter is not the place you would expect to get amazing tailoring done but an ex-girlfriend of mine introduced me to Joe and this spot, and I have been going ever since. I trust Joe with everything!
Cobblers: Deno’s (denosshoerepair.com) - This place just has a reputation for fixing anything and everything. I still have a pair of boots from college that I have had resoled 3 times at Deno’s because I love that worn in boot so much.
Barbers
Charlie + Co. used to be next to my bar The Standard Pour in Uptown Dallas and every girl I knew got their hair done by this guy. One day my girlfriend at the time made me come with her and I ended up meeting him and have been a client there for over 10 years. More importantly, he has become a great friend. We even traveled to my home town Cape Town, South Africa not too long ago and now our agency is also able to help him out. @hairbycharlie charlieandco.com
