This year it's not about resolutions because to me resolutions imply that they could be dropped or forgotten. This decade is all about starting fresh with a healthy outlook on life mentally, physically and always fashionably. I recently turned 55 and have a beautiful 9-month-old baby girl that I absolutely adore so being my very best self for her and my family is the most important thing in my life right now.

My health priorities start with my skin, skin is number one. My favorite way to treat myself is with a facial from Joanna Czech at her studio in Dallas. I usually try to do one of their facials once a month. I always get the treatment from Joanna herself, she uses these beautiful Jade and Amethyst crystals in her treatment room. It’s phenomenal. I combine that with Tina Craig’s new U Beauty Resurfacing Compound facial cream which keeps my skin feeling and looking incredibly healthy. For my workout, it’s so cliche but along with the rest of the world, I love my Peloton. It’s convenient, fun, and really the best workout. When it comes to my diet, I read the book Blue Zones by Dan Buettner, and it speaks on the Mediterranean Diet but it’s really not about the diet it’s all about a way of life and staying healthy.

I love what I’m seeing in 2020 fashion so far. Designers are mixing the classy conventional styles of the 1950s with relaxed and free elements from the ’70s, I think the two decades mesh together in a very sexy way. Also, I currently love the designer DAKS from London, they do a great job designing clothing for a fresh, modern and active lifestyle without looking too young, which is a very difficult style to capture for a lot of designers. When it comes to events, for the longest time I wore bow ties then it gradually phased out, but now they're back in an even better way than before. Right now all of my favorite designers are English but, of course, Gucci will always be Gucci. My ultimate accessories are the Dior crossbody bag, and the Alexandra Knight alligator tote bags embossed with my initials. And finally, for Spring trends, the Spring 2020 Hermès espadrilles are a must-have and ones that you’ll be seeing everywhere.

At home, I’ve been pulling inspiration from the book The Queen’s Hidden Garden, it’s all about the beautiful flowers and gardens at Buckingham Palace. The book has inspired me to start gardening on our terrace at home, it’s a hobby that I look forward to sharing with my daughter as she grows up.
