Osimo, a hill town in the province of Ancona, Le Marche, Italy.

Palisades, Washington DC.

Favorite sport to watch?

Formula 1 auto racing, motocross racing, boxing.

Favorite sport to play?

Boxing and swimming.

Best vacation ever?

Untouched and natural setting of the Monte Conero in the Marche region, on the cove of Portonovo. Stunning from sunrise to sunset.

Dream trip destination?

Running with the bulls in Pamplona, visiting Morocco, Phuket, Thailand, safari in Africa, Australia. The coast of Greece. The Amazon, and any part of Italy that I’ve never seen … there’s so much more on the bucket list!

Favorite dinner?

Depends on my mood and the company to match the perfect setting.

Favorite dessert?

A well-made coffee cake.

Underrated food?

Mackerel, anchovies, and sardines – all rich in omega-3s, and great for most diets. Rich in nutrients.

Dish you’re best at cooking?

Anything seafood, most of the time not cooked at all …

Best meal you’ve had at a restaurant?

Clandestino, in the cove of Portonovo. Uliassi in Senigallia. And Casual Ristorante Bergamo from Enrico Bartolini.

Road trip - three in the car with you. Living or dead. Who are they? Why?

My family!

Favorite TV show as a kid?

The Wacky Races cartoon, Asterisk and Obelisk.

Favorite movies?

Louis Defunes, French comedian, any of his movies; also The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Favorite actress and or actor?

Clint Eastwood, Toto’, Monica Vitti, Keira Knightley, Amy Adams, Charlize Theron.

Favorite bands?

Buena Vista Social Club, U2, Rolling Stones.

Most impressive live performance you ever saw?

Rolling Stones.

Car you drive now?

2017 Aston Martin DB-11.

Car you’d like to drive?

Aston Martin DBS Zagato Super Leggera (a contemporary car), or the Aston Martin DB-4 Zagato GT (a rare classic from the 1960s).

All brown liquor! Macallan 18 or 25, Lagavulin, and Oban are some of my favorites. Also Facundo Bacardi Collection Paraiso and Eximo.

Yes please. Both, or either!

Gin.

Louwe.

Go-to red on a wine list?

Tuscan, Piemonte, Sicilian, Burgundy, Rioja … and California.

Go-to white?

Old world Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chardonnay blends, White burgundy.

Favorite beach?

Formentera, Spain.

On a Saturday, your favorite errand to run is?

Go to a farmer’s market and get the car detailed.

Best work advice you ever got?

Never give up on your dreams and work your butt off to make them happen. And never, never give up.
