Committee Member: Charles Peed
Palm Beach -
Charles Peed lives in the center of the island—and he likes to be in the center of the action. While he holds a coveted degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu, today he has started his own design and retail business based in Palm Beach. “Having the world stage of Instagram has made it a non-seasonal non-regional business,” he says, “which is really rewarding.” A self-taught, hands-on person, he notes that “there is no business plan for my particular niche, which allows me to have very few boundaries. That is a wonderful, fearless quality I have gained from this experience.”
Tennis. Wimbledon 2019 men's finals. As good as it gets.
Capri. Days at La Canzone Del Mare in the Villa Marina Piccola. Dinner anywhere on the island and late-night dancing at Taverna Anema e Core.
Buenos Aires for an extended period to explore the city. I have had a taste and definitely want to go back for more.
My chocolate mousse. It's my specialty.
Buttered Toast with a sprinkle of salt.
Mandolin Aegean Bistro in Miami. Amazing Greek cuisine with the rumbling and rambling feel of a very long lunch.
My road trip would be with me driving, and my passengers would be two of my favorite artists. Henri Matisse for his use of intense colors and flatforms along with Louise Nevelson for her crazed appetite for objects and the monochromatic. I can only imagine their contrary backgrounds and wild stories; it would lead to a long but memorable road trip.
Rear Window - Alfred Hitchcock. His ability to capture so many different moments in one setting always gets me.
Grace Kelly. She has humor, elegance, and beauty.
The Rolling Stones, Milky Chance, Odesza.
Swan Lake, Baths of Caracalla in Rome.
Forest Greeen - Jaguar E-Type (1961).
Mini Cooper S, Manual.
Hermes Cape Cod double tour strap or Chanel J12 Chromatic GMT Automatic Charcoal Titanium Ceramic.
Chopard - L.U.C 1937 42 MM, Automatic, Stainless Steel.
COLD Rosé Domaine Ott.
Scotch. Oban 14 year.
Acqua di Parma Cedro di Taormina.

Starting and owning your own company forces you to have many titles. It's very compelling to force yourself to do tasks that you have no background in and thrive doing it. Balancing all aspects keeps you much more tuned in and alert to your and your business needs.
Marathons for cures and research. I enjoy the community and personal involvement that events like marathons provide.
