Jay-Z Beyonce Date Night Tiffany's movie still

Put on your best dress and get ready to impress. Beyoncé and Jay-Z teamed with Tiffany & Co. to take you out on a Date Night.

No, you're not really hitting the town with the Grammy winners. Date Night is a bonus film to the famed jewelry company's “About Love” campaign, which stars the two musical icons and stands to refresh the Tiffany & Co brand for a new generation of excellence seekers. The new video clip runs about two-minutes long and features a special guest appearance by the couple's daughter Blue Ivy.

Witty, whimsical and romantic, Date Night is the result of yet another close collaboration and shared vision between the Carters and Tiffany & Co. While the About Love campaign premiere film was a story of longing and reunion, Date Night is a story that illustrates the beauty and joy of romance.

Set in New York City, Date Night is inspired by an iconic scene from the Audrey Hepburn classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Bert Kaempfert’s "Three O’ Clock In The Morning" and Paul Anka’s "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" serve as the soundtrack to the video, which starts with Beyoncé playing a game of “he loves me, he loves me not” with a yellow daisy. Sitting in the back seat of a Rolls Royce, she rides through Manhattan and is promptly joined by Jay-Z. The couple takes in the city skyline while sharing pizza and a glass of Armand de Brignac champagne.

Directed by Dikayl Rimmasch and second unit director Derek Milton, Date Night is a welcome addition to Tiffany’s campaign and chronicles a night out with the Carters. The overarching About Love campaign explores the dimensionality of love, and the latest Date Night film shows us the playful side of the love story.

The Carters are decked-out in splendid Jean Schlumberger pieces. Jay-Z most notably wears the legendary Bird on a Rock brooch which features a platinum and 18k gold bird perched on a morganite gemstone of more than 44 carats. Beyoncé also dons Schlumberger designs, wearing an Ailsa diamond ring of more than 10 carats and a pair of Ribbon Fan earrings that feature diamonds totaling more than six total carats.

Jean Schlumberger was best known for dressing high society’s elite in the 1960s and ’70s. It' only appropriate his unmistakable designs live out his legacy on two of today’s greatest creative forces.

As a part of the House’s collaboration with the Carters, Tiffany & Co. has partnered with BeyGOOD and the Shawn Carter Foundation to create the Tiffany & Co. About Love Scholarship Program. BeyGOOD is Beyonce’s philanthropic initiative aiming to give back and empower via partnerships, while the Shawn Carter Foundation, founded by Jay-Z and his mother, helps individuals facing socio-economic hardships further their education at post-secondary institutions.

Earlier this year, Tiffany & Co. pledged $2 million in scholarship funding for students in the arts and creative fields at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The Tiffany & Co. About Love Scholarship has since been awarded to more than 50 qualifying students at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, Norfolk State University in Virginia, Bennett College in North Carolina, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Central State University in Ohio.

The campaign will further unfold throughout the year with additional films by the same directors. The “About Love” team includes wardrobe stylists June Ambrose and Marni Senofonte, hair stylists Jawara Wauchope and Nakia Rachon and makeup artist Sir John Barnett.
