After a two-year hiatus in Israel, Avner Samuel is back with a bang!

The talent who held the title of executive chef at The Mansion Restaurant at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek at the tender age of 25 has founded numerous dining concepts over the years, including five-star Aurora. His latest venture, Nosh Bistro, anchors the Hillcrest Crossing complex at Northwest Highway and Midway and offers an elevated, globally inflected take on Mediterranean fare. No worries, the Samuel signature classics we love are there. My Mother’s Chopped Salad, Moroccan Spicy Beef Cigars, Big Crispy Fish and Avner Style Falafel share menu space with French- and Middle Eastern-inspired fare and whimsical desserts. Tyler Duncan and Daniela Baudoin designed the sprawling contemporary venue. It includes a relaxed patio and buzzy lounge area serving bar bites all day, a main dining area with a 12-seat chef’s table and a stunning display kitchen where the man himself turns out an unlimited-course tasting menu nightly, and hosts cooking classes for adults and children every other Saturday. 8611 Hillcrest Road, Ste. 100, 469.730.2400, noshbistrodallas.com
