Strand Bookstore:
I love the Rare book room, which is on the third floor and can only be accessed through a secret elevator. Getting lost in old tomes is such a refreshing and inspiring treat - especially among NY’s everyday, busy lifestyle.
Sophie’s:
It’s a quintessential, New York City dive bar in the East Village. I love to go with friends to play pool and listen to old tunes on their jukebox.
L’Objet:
Although their Bleecker Street location has recently closed, it is one of my favorite shopping spots because it always offers interesting finds and designs.
Ippudo (on Astor Place):
It’s an incredible, authentic ramen restaurant and it has become a ritual for me to dine there at least once a month.
Omar’s:
One of my good friends opened a new restaurant location downtown: “Omar’s La Boite”. It offers a great show during dinner and it never disappoints, it’s also very New York!
