Manhattan - Global Vice President of Assouline Publishing
When speaking of behemoths in the publishing industry, no one is a stranger to the name Assouline. Although his hometown is in Paris, Assouline now calls Manhattan home. Alex Assouline is the Global Vice President of Assouline, which releases 50 plus book titles per year, boasts over 20 store fronts, and even curates custom libraries for some clients. Although Alex Assouline is only in his mid-20’s, he is tasked with helping run one of the most prolific names in the publishing world, and he loves it. “The fact that I get to create and materialize beautiful objects with deep content and meaning to be enjoyed by others,” explains Assouline. Catch Assouline out and about in Manhattan, or maybe at his favorite vacation destination on the Turkish Coast.

Actually we just launched the One Tree Planted initiative at Assouline. Having witnessed the catastrophe that were the Amazonian fires we wanted to do our part to help our ecosystem and planet. With the One Tree Planted initiative we will plant one new tree in the Amazon for every book sold. I believe it’s everyone’s responsibility to help better the world we live in. onetreeplanted.org; assouline.com
