Aberlour, distillers of elite, single malt Scotch whiskey, turned to the City of Big Shoulders and Hog Butcher to the World for inspiration when it came time to bottle and present its latest offering. The Aberlour Single Cask No. 22112, a 15-year old, first-fill, bourbon barrel-matured single malt Scotch, comes in a limited-edition, Chicago-inspired packaging.

The bottle arrives in a charred wooden box, including brass-colored accents as a tribute to the history of Chicago jazz. The art draws inspiration from the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, Lake Michigan and the rich cultural diversity of Chicago. It’s the work of Taylor Mentzer in a partnership with the Design Museum of Chicago.

Selling for $250, No. 22112 in its Chicago wrapping is now available exclusively in Illinois through select, luxury fine wine and spirits shops this fall.
