Normally I am awake and working at my kitchen table looking at the Ocean by 6 or 6:30 a.m. I get more work done before 9 a.m. than I do the whole rest of the day! When my cell phone is finally turned in at 9 a.m. the day bursts into full action mode.

At this time, I am usually dealing with daily issues on the various boards that I sit on or charities that I try to help with. One of my charities is The Cancer Alliance of Health and Hope. Fortunately, their office is literally right next door to my design office!

By 10 a.m. I am at my design office dealing with product orders and construction details for various projects. I love designing custom furniture and lighting so my clients all get an individualized style for their homes.

At noon I am usually eating lunch at The Colony Hotel poolside, or at a club with a client or a friend.

Towards 3 p.m. I am taking a 20-minute power nap at home. Even when I worked for a corporation, I always took a power nap in my office!

Around 3:30-5:30 p.m. I am going through the mail and paying bills.

At 6 p.m. I am out the door again either attending a charity black-tie event or out for a client dinner maybe at Swifty’s or Renato’s.

Or hopefully going to the Symphony, the Opera or a musical theater event. I do love everything at The Kravis Center!

And all in-between these times, I am usually showing apartments and homes to potential real estate buyers! It’s great when I find a home for a client and then get to decorate it for them too.

At 10 p.m. I am back in bed reading and making notes for the next day’s activities.

It’s a busy day...each and every day in Palm Beach.
