Right in the middle of Neighborhood Goods, the not-a-department-store at Legacy West (which, by the way, just received a whopping $14.5 million in funding and will be opening a second location in New York!), is our favorite new eatery, Prim and Proper. And not just because you can pop in during a day of shopping the store’s ever-changing slew of miniboutiques. Created in collaboration with Front Burner Restaurants, the fellows who brought us Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar and Sixty Vines, the hot spot offers a menu of Millennial Toast, featuring avocado (of course); a perfect club sandwich with peppered bacon on grilled sourdough; and a charcuterie and cheese board with warm olives and honeycomb. Plus, Neighborhood Goods has tapped Dallas’ most famous mixologist, Eddie “Lucky” Campbell, to curate a festive drink menu. Try the Walk in the Park, with mandarin-infused gin; the Window Shopper, with mixed berries; or our favorite, the Westside Margarita, with poblano-infused tequila. Best served next to a pile of shopping bags. primandproper.co
