Eight-time NBA All-Star and à la mode dresser, Russell Westbrook, is teaming up with the luxury fashion house, Acne Studios, for a Fall/Winter menswear collection. Most well known for his performance on the basketball court, Westbrook is also known to be dressed to the nines, which is exactly how this collaboration came about. After starring in Acne Studios S/S 2019 global campaign, they decided to work with Westbrook to create his own capsule collection.

The collection is very denim centric, focusing on Westbrook's reflection of the world as well as coinciding with Acne Studio's distinguished look. Acne studio's also wanted to use denim as they explain that it has the ability to express strength of personality. The collection will feature shirts, jeans, shorts, and outerwear such as a half-zip windbreaker with a denim update.

The collection will feature a range of colors such as light blue and teal green acid washes denim, white, and black to coincide with many different outfit combinations. Although Westbrook has been a fan of Acne Studios and their lines, he is truly excited about his ability to create and collaborate with this staple company in the fashion industry. “Acne Studios is already an unbelievable brand that speaks for itself so I’m just happy and blessed to have a collection with them and to be able to show my creative side,” says Westbrook.

Available on October 28, the collaboration capsule collection will launch in selected Acne Studios stores as well as online, and exclusively on highsnobiety.com.
