Peter Millar's launches his new sportswear line

Peter Millar's launches his new sportswear line

November 10, 2019 by

Jaclyn Jermyn Jaclyn Jermyn

Get back into the swing of things when Peter Millar brings its brand of boardroom-to-fairway sophistication to the Gold Coast.

“The boutique balances components of modernism with architectural inspiration from masters like Louis Sullivan, Frank Lloyd Wright and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe,” says Scott Ruerup, president of retail for Peter Millar. “The neighborhood inspired this vision.” Known for refined performance sportswear, the North Carolina-based brand has found a fitting new home on Rush Street. “Our Chicago customer appreciates a refined sense of style, innovation, quality and craftsmanship,” says Ruerup. Those Chicago customers should set their sights on the new All-Weather Flex Voyager jacket ($698), a sleek and tailored take on vintage bomber jackets with a breathable, water-resistant finish. It will look as at home amid the new boutique’s gray-washed wood walls and gleaming brass accents as it will out on the green. 877 N. Rush St.
