120. That's the number of gins on offer at 1751 Sea and Bar, the snazzy new seafood restaurant and bar in the Heights, which is billed as Houston’s first restaurant with a dedicated gin bar. Beverage director David Maness stocks the juniper spirits from all of the world, from Japan, to Argentina, South Africa and London. Sexy sips include the Katana 75, a play on the classic French 75 made with roku gin and yuzu; and the Storm’s End, a Roxor gin-based cocktail that changes colors before your eyes. Complementing the bar menu are the seafood-focused offerings by Underbelly alums Lyle Bento and J.D. Woodward. Start with seafood tower of East Coast oysters and king crab; then take a trip around the globe via seafood creations ranging from mussels pistou to Viet-style Rohan duck salad to a knock-your-socks off sea urchin pasta with caviar that recalls a coastal town in Italy. 191 Heights Blvd., 832.831.9820, 1751houston.com
