Next-generation real estate doesn't get much cooler than the Arkup #1, a first-of-its-kind 75-foot livable floating residence that was recently unveiled at the Miami Yacht Show and is currently on the market for $5.8 million. The home is an example of the ingenuity of Arkup (arkup.com), a Miami-based company founded in 2016 that pioneers life on the water with mobile and self-elevating so-called “livable yachts.”

In addition to the engineering bells and whistles such a custom abode requires, Arkup collaborated with Artefacto (artefacto.com) for the interior design of the home, which is marked by furniture and accessories in subdued tones of gray and beige that let the water views take center stage. Did we mention the pad is hurricaneresistant, ood-adaptive and solar-powered as well? Looks like address envy just took on a new shade of green.
