Combine Sports and Travel by Watching College Football in Dublin

Combine Sports and Travel by Watching College Football in Dublin

The Fighting Irish are coming to fight in Ireland, and travel packages are now available for the guy looking to combine his travel and sports experiences.

August of 2020 will bring college football to Dublin as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish clash against the U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen. ESPN’s College Gameday will be on the scene for its first international show, and travel packages are now in place for America’s fans to head to the Emerald Isle.

The “Official Golf Travel Provider” for the game, Carr Golf has itineraries in place to combine the game at Aviva Stadium with outings to popular landmarks and attractions. Accommodations are available across three distinct properties. Dating to the 17th century, The Bushmills Inn features 41 bedrooms and suites. Other choices include Slieve Donard Resort & Spa and the Morgan Hotel in Dublin City Center near the world-famous Temple Bar.

Following the Notre Dame and Navy game in 2020, the Big 10’s Illinois Fighting Illini and Nebraska Cornhuskers will head to Dublin in 2021. Travel packages are also available for that game a couple years ahead. collegefootballireland.com; carrgolf.com/travel
