When former NFL player Marc Megna and nightlife impresario Chris Paciello opened the first Anatomy (anatomyfitness.com) at Sunset Harbour in 2015, they knew their high-end gym with endless amenities, high-tech equipment and exceptional programming (with a special focus on body recovery after workouts) was something special.

The membership numbers grew and clients reported feeling and looking better than ever—plus they found a remarkable reason to return on the regular. “We’ve created a culture that is positive, welcoming and high-energy, and people naturally gravitate to that,” says Megna. “We give members the sense of camaraderie they are looking for.” These days, they are doing all that at Anatomy’s two newest locations, in Midtown and the 1 Hotel South Beach. The founders say they owe a great deal of their success to their trainers, instructors and specialists, pros who keep the momentum going day in and out.

“The personality of each team is unique,” says Megna, “but they all maintain the essential Anatomy values of positivity, respect and passion. We are not sure how we all came together, but we are incredibly fortunate to be in the same place working toward a common goal.” And, as the old adage goes, what goes around continues to come around. “Running Anatomy has definitely changed me for the better,” says Paciello. “Being surrounded by so many health-minded people who live the lifestyle has made me step up my game.”
