For the office’s next after-5 outing, consider these luxurious lounges serving up refreshing cocktails.

Rounding out the options at The Battery Atlanta is Punch Bowl Social, where Hugh Acheson serves as the consulting chef. The drink menu is broken down into Old School, New School, Adult Milkshakes and, naturally, Punch. Try the Watermelon Polo Bowl with tequila, watermelon tea, watermelon shrub, housemade strawberry syrup and lime juice. We recommend the boozeless craft beverages as well—over 20 options from which to choose, including a spiced cranberry soda, strawberry rhubarb fizz and a classic egg cream. Ste. 720, 470.443.1443

Overdrive_Lounge.jpgOVERDRIVE LOUNGE
Overlooking one of Delta Air Lines‘ prime runways is Solís Two Porsche Drive‘s Overdrive Lounge. There’s truly no better place this side of the perimeter to unwind with a cocktail in hand and let the world literally pass you by. Try the Georgia Mule, a play on a Moscow Mule, made with Old Fourth Distillery vodka and Lawn Dart ginger lemon liqueur, or the Pecan Dandy; it's on theme, with muddled fresh peach slices, rum, amaro, lemon juice and pecan orgeat. Both pair well with the Mediterranean-inspired food menu. 2 Porsche Drive, 470.466.3300

PAPER CRANE LOUNGE
Upstairs at Staplehouse is Paper Crane Lounge: intimate, casual, low-lit and heavy on the serious cocktails. It's walk-ins only and is only open partially during the week, during normal Staplehouse business hours—with an abbreviated a la carte menu from downstairs. Any wait is worth it for the rotating, inventive drinks with elusive names like the Disco Nap (an energizing and tart concoction) and the Runaround Suze (think floral and bright). The idea is to trust your bartender—and there’s not a misstep to be found. 541 Edgewood Ave. SE, 404.524.5005

From the owners of Ladybird Grove and Mess Hall comes this year’s buzziest watering hole: Golden Eagle. The retro environs, food and beverage are the perfect juxtaposition for the thoroughly modern crowd: Think amaretto sours, Blue Hawaiians and crab Rangoon served to tech titans and creative masterminds. This Reynoldstown resto is worthy of a night on the town. 904 Memorial Drive, 404.963.1703
