More than 500 Patrón bottles hanging from the ceiling comprise Ben Lewis’ ultracool functioning sculpture for the Coeval Studio-designed private tequila lounge upstairs at El Bolero Cocina Mexicana (elbolero.argconcepts.com) on Fitzhugh Avenue.

Local ceramic artist Marcello Andres (marcelloandres.com) considered every aspect of the restaurant while collaborating with Beverley’s (beverleysdallas.com) owner Greg Katz on the bistro’s custom tableware. The result? Handmade white ceramic dishes accented in black that provide a tactile, timeless element.

Kent and Tracy Rathbun had a vision for Imoto’s (imotodallas.com) decor: a flock of flying origami cranes. Built by Bender (builtbybender.‌com) rose to the challenge with an installation that has the birds suspended by low voltage wires powering LED bar lights that hang directly below.
